Luisa is an ordained minister of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster — a global congregation whose deepest tenets are joy, inclusion, and never taking yourself so seriously that you forget to love people well. Our couples tend to be the kind who appreciate that a perfect ceremony can hold both tears and a knowing smile.

The legal part, in plain language: In New Zealand, FSM ministers are authorized to legally solemnize marriages. In most other countries — and in many US jurisdictions — the legal marriage is a civil registration handled separately from the ceremony, which may be led by anyone you choose. Before your date, we confirm the exact requirements with your local clerk or registrar and, where needed, coordinate the civil registration so your ceremony day carries zero paperwork and one hundred percent meaning. We officiate wherever our ordination is recognized, and design legally seamless celebrations everywhere else. Love Grows Value LLC is a registered limited liability company in the State of Michigan.

Is a ceremony officiated by an FSM minister legally binding?

It depends where you marry. In New Zealand, the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is authorized to legally solemnize marriages. In most other countries and many US jurisdictions, the legal marriage is registered separately through a civil registrar, and the ceremony itself may be led by anyone you choose. We confirm the exact requirements of your jurisdiction before your date and coordinate any civil registration so your ceremony day is purely about the two of you.

How much does a luxury destination wedding officiant cost?

Our collections begin at $5,950 for Great Lakes ceremonies and $16,250 plus travel for international destinations. Fully bespoke multi-day celebrations begin at $34,000. Every ceremony is written from scratch and never reused.

Do you travel internationally?

Yes — worldwide. Recent and favorite territories include Mexico, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, the UK, and New Zealand. Travel and accommodation are arranged with your planner and billed at cost.

How far in advance should we book?

Destination weddings book nine to eighteen months ahead; we hold only four wedding dates per year. Celebrations of life are held on compassionate timelines, often within days.
